What is the age range of your program?

For the People Program, we allow participants from age 13 and up. There is no maximum age limit.

For the Professional Program, selected participants will be between 13 – 21 years old.


Is there an audition?

There is no audition for the People Program. All dance-lovers are welcome and we will have multiple class levels to accommodate people of all levels.

For the Professional Program, dancers are invited to apply via video. More information about the audition video requirements can be found here: ( https://dancetonyc.com/the-professional-program/ )


Can I join only a few classes?

With your participation fee, you have access to ALL classes within your program (Professional or People). You are welcome to “build your own schedule” and choose which classes you’d like to join each day, however we do not offer a reduced rate for people who only want to join certain classes.


Do you offer hotel or accommodations?

After much consideration and investigation, we found that most people prefer to find their own accommodations according to their own budget. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us–we’re happy to help!


Where will the classes take place?

The program will take place in the studios of the famous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, located at 100 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10023. We are very grateful to be able to work in this beautiful location on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and just steps away from Lincoln Center!


How much does the program cost?

850€ – Program cost for European Residents

750€ – If you register before Jan 31st, 2020

650€ – With a Partner Association code

$600 – For USA residents


Do you offer scholarships?

We have a limited amount of scholarships available for the most talented dancers as well as for dancers who show financial need. Please send an email to info@dancetonyc.com if you are interested in applying for a scholarship.

Our goal is to make it possible for 24 highly talented dancers to have a full scholarship to our program. Do you know someone who would support this initiative? Please visit braswellarts.com to find out more information about our not-for-profit association that supports the scholarship fund.


What do you need from me to register?

Registering for both programs is easy. You can simply use our online form located at the bottom of the People Program page (https://dancetonyc.com/the-people-program/ )  and the Professional Program page (  https://dancetonyc.com/the-professional-program/ ). Alternatively, you can send an email to us with your name, your email address, your phone number, as well as the program you are interested in. Our email address is info@dancetonyc.com.


How can I pay?

You can simply send your full payment directly to our account with your name and Dance To NYC as the subject. Or use the online form at the bottom of the professional and people pages.

Cancellation policy?

Cancellation of your registration is only possible with a medical note or in case of serious emergency.


Insurances?

Students are responsible for their own travel and health insurances.
